Notification of Information and Computing
Institute of Information and Computing is establishing and operating the courses of acquiring MOS (Microsoft Office Specialists) and ICDL (International Computer Driving License) as an internationally recognized certificate through an agreement with YMB MOS office and ICDL qualification test management team in the Korea Productivity Center every month. Especially, the institution focuses on educating the software that is used mostly in the office environment including corporations proceeding the course according to annual plans to learn up-to-date technology in the field of IT.

  • ICDL Starter Class : Word processing, spread sheet, presentation, web-searching, and communication

Institute of Information and Computing IT Service

  • Comprehensive Login Information
    • The initial login ID is school ID, and password is the last digits (last 7 digits) of the foreign registration number
    • Available service after comprehensive login : Homepage, web-mail, engineering certificate, web-disk, MNU history management, employment information, Intra-net, virtual lecture, and etc
  • Student Intranet Information
    • Newly accepted students will have their Intranet ID automatically created. Initial ID is school ID, and password is the last digits of foreign registration number (last 7 digits)
    • Available to use mobile Intranet service by using smart phone
  • Internet Information
    • If taking a personal computer to the classroom and using Internet, IP shall be granted and confirmed.
  • Web-mail Usage Information
    • Login to http://mail.mokpo.ac.kr if using the email of our school and join as a member. 100MB is the basic capacity to be provided in the email.
  • Web-disk Usage Information
    • Login to http://idisk.mokpo.ac.kr if using the web-disk of our university and join as a member. Manager then approves so that a student is able to use web-disk.
  • Software Installation Information
    • Available to use major software such as Hangeul, MS-Office, or Adobe products. However, they are allowed to be used only in the lab and cannot be used for commercial purpose. They are to be provided through a TA in each department.
  • Open Practice Room Usage Information
    • Located at the education room (room 101) on the 1st floor of Comprehensive Information Center. Total 40 PCS are available.
    • Opening hours are from 9am to 5:50pm. Also available to use during the vacation.
